Ramzi graduated from Cal State Northridge with a BS degree in Marketing and Finance in 1993. He received an MBA from USC's Marshal School of Business in 1998. His interest in product development and anything high tech led him to pursue a career in the pro-video and cinema marketplace. Ramzi has over ten years of experience in this market and is currently the Marketing Director at Doremi Labs, Inc. Doremi is based in Burbank, California and is one of the leading developers and manufacturers of digital video servers for the broadcast, presentation and digital cinema markets.

Regarding his decision to join LA Beirut Sister City, Ramzi stated "I believe that those of us who through good fortune and education now lead a comfortable lifestyle have an obligation to use our skills and influence to better the lives of the less fortunate here in America and the rest of the world. This can be achieved by promoting cultural and arts exchange, through charitable organizations that aid those in need and through the political process by supporting human rights organization and lobbying our elected representatives."

"LA Beirut Sister City is a great opportunity for those of Lebanese heritage or any American looking to promote cultural exchange and humanitarian aid with Lebanon."
